I was having a stressful day today. The house needed cleaned, laundry needed done, dishes were piling up, I had a bunch of emails to respond to, Isaac is struck with another cold, videos to edit and I haven't been able to concentrate on my writing. So when Isaac held my hand and led me to the front door, I knew he wanted to go outside for a walk. We both had already bathed so we put on our coats and went outside. I was pointing out the trees and flowers to him when I realised just how beautiful the surroundings were. The air was fresh and the sun was beaming at us. Turns out all I needed was a mini break away. Usually, halfway he would ask me to carry him home. Today, he walked for most of the journey. Thanks Isaac. Mummy needed it more than you. He's in bed now and usually this is when I try to catch up on work/errands but tonight, I'm just going to relax with a little tv and reading. Looking forward to having @bubzhubz back soon. Can't believe it's been 2 weeks already 😊
